I love lists so, lets do this in list format(one of my favorite books is Milk,Eggs, Vodka: Grocery Lists Lost and Found):
I grew up in Austin, Texas; an unassuming,
quirky, creative little town. It is one ounce
of weird for every pound of heart & soul and
I think itÂ’s one of the best places on earth
(Barcelona and New York are a close second and
third respectively).
As a little girl, I spent a large chunk of the 80Â’s in the German countryside and therefore miss a lot of 80Â’s pop culture references.
I have an uncanny ability to “name that song or artist” (unless said artist/song is from the 80’s-- see above).
I avoid karaoke situations.
I have an intense interest in documentaries and will watch any one I come across. Seriously, any.
I believe in ghosts and think I had an “encounter” once.
I adore old things (books, cars, houses, chairs, watches). My vintage Westclox alarm clock is one of my favorite processions. With its constant ticking and clanging alarm, it sounds like nothing else in my digital life.
My Ideal Person:
Someone who is truly engaging, interesting, preferably creative or with an appreciation for the arts and who has lots of their own things going on.
My most humbling moment
going to grad school and realizing how many amazingly talented
creatives I was surrounded by.
If I could be anywhere right now
On a beach in Barcelona or... On the patio of Baby A's on Barton Springs Rd in Austin,
TX. Flip flops, t-shirt, cotton skirt, sunglasses, margaritas,
& queso.
Five items I can't live without
phone, laptop, coffee, my moleskine (for list making &
sketches), lipgloss.
