I'm passionate about my work, but enjoy my play. I lean heavily to the left and am very open-minded. I like to travel and explore new places, be it another city or country, or some small corner of Central Park. I think beauty is found in the everyday, and I enjoy taking the time to appreciate and think about it. The city never ceases to amaze me. I enjoy sports, but they don't rule my life. I'm friendly, intelligent, outgoing, romantic, a good listener and affectionate. I respect both intelligence and education, in its various forms. I enjoy spending time with my family and value my friendships. I'm comfortable with who I am, and trust my gut on most things.
Some more likes: going out to hear live music, drinks with friends, Central Park, WNYC, sports, being outdoors, museums, and reading. I also like to to relax and watch The Office or Top Chef. I love the movies. I enjoy going out to eat and trying new foods. I could eat Mexican food every day, and have been trying some recipes in Rick Bayless' cookbook.
My Ideal Person:
I'm looking to meet someone who is smart, sexy, playful, affectionate, romantic, is passionate about life, and appreciates the ride. Someone who thinks about ideas large and small. Willingness to occasionally fake interest in a sporting event is a plus. Someone who loves her body and mind, and cares for both. Someone who is open-minded and compassionate; who expresses her thoughts and feelings, and her creativity.

The celebrity I resemble the most Brian Austin Green is probably the closest. I think he's making a comeback! While on line at Six Flags Magic Mountain, I overheard some young women say I looked like Morrissey. A bit of a stretch, it made more sense after reading a piece by Chuck Klosterman about how a lot of Mexican-American kids in L.A. are way into Morrissey.
The best or worst lie I've ever told Can't remember how much of it was a lie, but I once talked my way into a Jane's Addiction afterparty when, by all accounts, it was silly to even try
